ACTION 28:
Set up a water collector and sludge trap to the south of the hub intended to treat all run-off water from the airport so as to prevent any risk of accidental pollution.
ACTION 29:
Put in place suitable equipment to aim for a zero level of pollution in the water courses around the airport (Béal and Frayère).
ACTION 30:
Regularly maintain the water courses and drainage system (annual audit of the condition of the drains); implement vital cleaning out works.
ACTION 31:
Set up, in partnership with the approved bodies, waste management for all companies established on the airport.
ACTION 32:
Set up, with a view to reducing consumption, an energy and fluid management policy: electricity, gas, drinking water and industrial water.
ACTION 33:
Implement a quality approach aiming, by 2005, for ISO 14001 certification, in particular for the quality of the Environmental Management systems.
ACTION 34:
Develop the airport's natural areas in association with the Conservatoire National Botanique de Porquerolles.
ACTION 35:
Protect threatened Mediterranean botanical species still present at the airport (bellevalia romana, thalictrum maritimum).
ACTION 36:
Continue the work started with the Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux (French Society for the Protection of Birds, LPO) and the Conservatoire Etudes des Ecosystèmes de Provence (CEEP) to protect, in a way compatible with aviation activity, the migratory species around the airport.
ACTION 37:
Enable young people to gain access to aviation jobs by creating suitable training courses.
ACTION 38:
With the support of the flying clubs, enable fans of aviation to learn to fly in acceptable financial conditions.
ACTION 39:
Accommodate public health bodies and in particular organ transfers and health evacuations.
ACTION 40:
Encourage activities which directly benefit the population: Civil security, emergencies involving people, etc.
