ACTION 16:
Develop a monthly monitoring table for airport activity by traffic sector and publish this information via a dedicated page on the Chamber of Commerce and Industry's website.
ACTION 17:
Set up flight path monitoring by extending the system developed in consultation with residents for Nice Côte d’Azur to Cannes-Mandelieu.
ACTION 18:
Develop environmental key performance indicators in consultation making it possible to appreciate the impact of the airport’s activity over a given time frame. These environmental key performance indicators will include indicators relating to:
• noise pollution
• air quality
• water quality
Noise measuring campaigns will be conducted on the basis of the protocol developed with the associations and local authorities concerned (two annual campaigns, low season and high season). Air quality measures will be supplied by the stations closest to the airport, which is Cannes Broussailles and Cannes Boulevard Alsace. If the need arises, additional stations can be considered. The water quality measuring campaigns will be carried out on the watercourses of Béal and Frayère, upstream and downstream from the airport.
ACTION 19:
Complete the monitoring of environmental data by monitoring the development of the property market in those towns flown over.
ACTION 20:
Improve the transparency of the recording system and penalties for breaches.
ACTION 21:
Agree, in the event of a continuous negative development of all or some of these indicators, to take technical measures intended to reduce pollution, including an upper limit by traffic sector.
ACTION 22:
Through an independent and recognised survey body conduct a periodic survey of residents’ satisfaction (measure of the perception of airport activity) over all the towns flown over (Cannes basin). Publish the results of this survey.
ACTION 23:
Create a reception area intended to inform residents and answer their questions.
ACTION 24:
Establish a suitable organisation to deal with residents’ requests received by letter, telephone or internet quickly.
ACTION 25:
Twice a year, send out a newsletter intended to give regular updates on the environmental actions implemented.
ACTION 26:
Inform residents, municipalities and associations beforehand of any event likely to change the environmental perception of the airport.
ACTION 27:
Annually publish the environmental actions carried out at Cannes-Mandelieu, jointly with the publication of the environmental actions conducted at Nice Côte d’Azur. |
