ACTION 1:
Ban night time activity: the airport is closed at 8pm in winter, 30 minutes after sunset in summer (which is around 10pm).
ACTION 2:
Ban scheduled commercial flights: the airport does not accept the arrival of scheduled commercial flights, in accordance with the ministerial decree of 14th March 1967.
ACTION 3:
Manage the airport's activity by retaining the 2002 level of business traffic (10,000 movements )as a benchmark value and combining it with an annual review clause to develop this value depending on the results obtained through the implementation of the Environmental Charter.
ACTION 4:
Limit the frequency of jets and turboprops over Cannes- Mandelieu Airport to 5/6 arrivals an hour (daily average).
ACTION 5:
Implement the necessary measures so that business aviation (jets and turboprops) continues to be accommodated at Nice Côte d’Azur and that Cannes-Mandelieu’s share of this industry sector remains less than 50% of the combined business traffic over the two hubs. The 50/50 limit will apply on “admissible” sectors for Cannes, i.e. on the 0/22 T sector.
ACTION 6:
Ban helicopter training and introductory flights from the Cannes hub.
ACTION 7:
Do not lengthen the runways beyond the airport’s current boundaries.

ACTION 8:
Limit the acceptable tonnage to aircraft with a MTOW (Maximum Takeoff Weight) of 22 tonnes, in accordance with the ministerial decree of 6th December 1995.
ACTION 9:
Ban the most polluting activities: noisy single flux jet engine aircraft (Chapters I and II), aerobatic aviation, ULM and aerial advertising from departing and arriving at Cannes, including gliding and parachuting.
ACTION 10:
Limit certain activities judged as noisy: helicopter schools and laps of the runway.
ACTION 11:
Take into account, as part of the review of the PEB (the French noise hazard plan), by government services, the directions defined in the White Paper and the Environmental Charter.
ACTION 12:
Make the arrival of jets at the airport more professional by establishing an approach procedure with instruments encouraging better respect for the altitudes and flight paths.
ACTION 13:
Increase fly over altitudes by raising the runway circuit for jets and turbines to 1800 feet (instead of 1500 feet currently).
ACTION 14:
Limit noise at the source by encouraging the installation of exhaust mufflers for based aircraft that are not yet equipped.
ACTION 15:
Ban the use of thrust reversers except in emergency safety situations.
